  • Corrupt IS CRAP.

All the so called "solutions" all point to either redownload the patch or .data files from the downloads page, but the problem is there, the files there are old.
The corrupted data is in the patch itself.
Download old data--->Install old data--->Auto download new crappy Data
Apply old data----> auto update new Crappy Data

If people are in game, it is because they got the 1 in a million chance that their data wasn't corrupt when they got it.

The patch/update isn't corrupted, it's the installation process that is failing. The files themselves are fine, but the process of putting them onto your computer and registering them with the game engine is blowing chunks. That's why the solution is to re-install the files that failed, starting with data files and moving on to the whole patch.

That said, please make this a primary fix for the next patch.

1
