i don't have problem looking at the mini map

No problem looking at the map here.

I have no problem with minimap
1. because I rarely look at minimap
2. because I still see the dot

sugestion, if you want solid color you can edit the SPR by your self.

I've made it for you :
see, now the minimap have solid black color, with white grids

note : if you press "M" the grid disappear
and the map become partially transparent again, but not blue and it transparency not like original minimap
just for comparison :

old minimap transparency = 50%
new minimap transparency = 80%

*higher percentage mean close to solid color

HOW TO INSTALL SPR FILE:

AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD THE SPR,
COPY THAT ".SPR" FILE TO :
C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET\NavyFIELD\SPR

PRESS OK IF IT NEED TO REPLACE OLD FILE

MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP OLD FILE THAT YOU WANT TO REPLACE TO ANOTHER FOLDER


IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, PLEASE WRITE WHAT YOU NEED, MAYBE I CAN HELP TO EDIT IT AGAIN.

the MM is invaluable, especially if you are a CV operator.


An advanced Mini-map would include planes, but that's probably asking too much from the developers.  Also, modern mini-map indicators have direction indicators (arrows) showing the direction of identified units.
