I sense sarcasm here.  But seriously, why does everyone hate smoke users so much?  It's a valid tactic to hide from the enemy while you shoot him.  There's nothing wrong with it and no reason to hate someone other than making your job of aiming that much harder.  I'm not a big user of smoke (mostly because I don't buy it and forget about it when it's dropped) but I don't mind others using it.

I've seen players who smokes whenever the cool-down is ready (about 10 smokes per game) and yet he can't make damage without using smoke. That is about $0.6 per game. 20 games per day means $12 donated to SDE per day.

I believe that's why most people hate smokers - it's more of a symbol of SDE's Pay-to-win model rather than something that really helpes improve player skills. And it's not like burning experts for vets which is a once-and-for-all investment.

Btw, if smoke is a valid tactic, then why will there be penalties for using it in official competitions?

Make smoke free so everyone can use it (make it last shorter, or make the cool-down longer, or whatever), then there'll be no smoke haters.

Smoke is a valid part of the game.doesnt matter if u r good at it or not.its a last chance option that get out of jail free card everything we do in a battle is a tactic.some players are good at tactics and the rest think they know what there doing. what ever SDE releases to us to play with. We must adjust to it or whinge about . If u dont have smoke or care not to support sde in a small way then what value does your opinion deserve because u dont care anyway

It doesn't make you better, it gives you an advantage. If done right of course...
