But also, getting players to check the navyfield.com might also be an important item for SDE.

How about keeping the website one to get people to check it and also for one game played to increase activity?

The whole reason it is on the website was to get players to log onto the website more, for them to hopefully see announcements.

Putting it in the client defeats the reason it was made in the first place. 

I dont see any issue with having incentives to do both
