The reason i throw this idea out is that in game finding a MOD and getting some timely assistance is excellent.

Of course that assumes you can get in game.  When problems arise outside of game, like myself, getting some timely assistance the only option is a ticket and or forum.  And normally one has to wait for hours or a day before the conversation can begin. 

If there is a chat room on the site then some of the problems that appear can be dealt with much more easily

It just makes sense

I doubt this will be implemented mate, I forsee lots of issues with chat, and the mods couldnt watch it 24/7

tho I like the reasoning behind your suggestion, I feel within mins it would get abused

You don't need a mic or talk, you can use the Chat at the bottom of each channel.

edit:  nope, they've changed it.  It seems they don't want us to see all the TNF mods playing warthunder when none are in the game.  And this renders the helpdesk inoperable as well.  Way to distance yourselves from the community.  Rather than fix your mistake, you choose to cover it up.  Now that's Honor and Integrity as I've never before seen it.

well TS3 got bought out, your admin should have gotten an email about it with a new IP address for your server.

Put it this way, if there is chat room it is near impossible to find.

I do agree with devildog, mods would be needed to monitor the chat area.  But with all the smart phones i would be many would check in more often.  Better community better game.

And i guess i should apologize to normpeari.  So far to any post i have posted you have been... um... awfully negative.  Maybe you are this way to all people.  I have no idea.

Look at every fleet's shoutboxs, and the nightmare for TNF and the FMs it would cause due to the level of censorship rules in place.


Now you know why, no matter how many times a chatbox was suggested for the website in the past. It was never done.
