ok lets try this...One locate the 1320 download listed in one of the stickies about possible solutions.....down load this....
Unistall navyfield....
rededit and look for navyfield, sdenternet, hackshield, hs, enfuns. Delete registries with any values set for these, read descriptions and re read them before deleting. restart computer... open the c drive and navigate to where the nf was installed...if you see a sdenternet folder delete this.... create a folder on your c drive under your x86 program file directory. install nf1320 or nf1319 the new folder you made on the x86 folder when installing install the updater to the path states in the installer, do not install in x86, it gets real pissy about this.
Now for me I did not manually patched but I let it update itself, which lead to a corrupt bug but when I unistalled and reinstalled again it worked fine with just the auto updater but you will want to get a copy of the 1323 patch so you can test the manual instal...
Now before you launch the game do the following. Go to the nf directory you made in the x86 program files. Find the launcher open the properties go to compatibility set to win 98, disable visual themes and desktop composition, and run as admin. Now go to the updater that should list in the same nf directory, dont ask it just does on win 7 systems. Do the same as you did to the launcher.... Now go to the Navyfield.exe and set to run as admin, disable desktop comp and visual themes(Note do not set compatibility, if you do when you launch it will crash and turn of compatibility....but if you relaunch after this it will load up the game, not sure why but it does...
Now launch game you will download some 65 files or what not....
hit play...most likely it will crash so run it again, keep doing this for like 5 to 8 times.....till you get to the login....if you try to login and it gives data corupt or .spr error...then remove game yell at your pc....then regedit and install again this time use the 1323 manuel patch and all other steps I have provided........
trust me when I say I have spent the past month finding workable work arounds to get this damn game to work.
