Im going to share with you a response sent to me by customer support. Now there sorry has ended up in a loss of play time and
a loss of being able to take an active part in the events.

Honestly I am out of suggestions that I can give you. The crash issue seems to be a part that will get fixed when our developers can make the update so NF doesn't have issues on Windows 7. They are currently working on this very hard, but it will still take more time to solve this issue.

Meanwhile, if this crash issue bothers you too much, it maybe better if you can try another PC instead of the one you're currently using(if another one is available around you)

We're sorry for this."

Now tried this on a vista and xp machine....xp played it but the machine belongs to a friend, vista threw up on its self.


Now since there is a patch coming, how about maybe some kind of mini event to make up for the loss of game play and or
xp, creds, and for the 18 hours of straight testing to get the game to work and or isolate the problems down to 2 specific files leaking memory like  a stuck pig...

Just say would be  nice if they made reparations.

So for all of you who crash when joining games...sucks to be us for a bit...But least they admit its not us but them...

thers one more thing you can do that did help me.

Go to properties for NF Launcher

set compatibility Mode to Windows 98 / Windows Me, and set run as administrator.

This did help me so i hope it helps you.

yeah this use to work for me but 1323 made using compatibility with a 64 bit system way to unstable game wont actually load just keeps cycling in the loading splash screen.....had it run for 2 hours and never left the screen

I just applied the above suggestion and haven't crashed in 3 hrs so this also works for vista 32 bit. Though for me the updater launcher was found in the ENFUNS folder. Great advice =).

For a problem that have been persistant through-out several years are not gonna be fixed even though they promise to work on this as much as they can. Seen these promises before and nothing happens. It's not only W7, but also Vista and some XP OS' that have the same issue. So even if you get another computer you might aswell get the very same problem on that machine.
I'll be very surprised if they actually started to work on these really anoing bugs and ingame/server issues that should have been solved a long time ago. So untill I actually see a fix I wouldn't believe a word they write.

I WOULD LIKE TO FINISH THE LAST WEEK OF THE RECENT EVENT that we missed due to patch corruption

i think sde should repeat one week of the item drop and pemium vet bonus .. many missed due to patch issue

and also extend the free premium period for one more week as well ... since that also suffered from the patch
