Ok over the past 2 weeks I have been fighting to get the game to work like it use to back in 1320....

well since then we have had 2 patches that seemed to destroy the game for many and required us to learn how to become  jr software engineers.

Now in this process I have tried a great many things and this is the easiest and most effective method I have found to do it...

Step one unistall navyfield....
step two...download navyfield 1320 (click the link  --->) navfielee ind1320
step three install the the 1320
set to run as admin and disable visual themes and desktop compositon
start the game...update the 97 files...
play...
game may crash 2 times before loading...
once game lets you to login login and hope....

if this fails unistall and reinstall and try again....

Now not sure if this helps in it....but go into the nf directory and set admin on the launcher, the updater, and the navyfield .exe

Note this seems to help for win 7 and vista users....

This has worked for me now on 3 different computers using different operating systems..If this works for you then awesome if not well I will keep trying.
