I have come back to NF after 6 month break or so. As expected, there were many updates. (206 files) I did the update, which takes about 40 min. yeah i know, slow service. The problem is that everytime I start NF, I have to redo the update. complete pain. The only option I can see is delete and reinstall, but that takes about 8 hrs. Any ideas?

Try the manual patch before reinstall...

The updater often forgets to update the registry key that stores the current version - when that happens it thinks you're on an earlier version when you start the game and downloads all subsequent versions. I've fixed that in the past by updating the registry key manually, but hopefully a manual patch will fix it.
