  • Give all Subs 100% duds

Make all torpedo's you fire duds.

Give the submarine a tool like a BB that can ajust his angle, with the difrense that the sub set a runtime  of the fired torpedo"s in secondes. Only when the Torpdo finished the set time it will explode.

If that is posseble then add:

Give subs the option to shoot at a angle but only in a curved line.

I'd recommend if we could adjust depth instead of explosion range. No dud torps. But you need to know the keel depth of each ship to do maximum damage. Like real life. Set too low, miss. Set too high, limited damage.

In real life you can set angle to the rudder torp at launch, here no

In real life you can set depth torpedo from zero to attack deph. here no

in real life the submarine had a variety of depth between shallow water and crush depth, here only have 2, submerged or crush depth

in real life torps not explode at ends run

in real life you can sink a BB with only 1 torp and a maximum of three, here you need 6, 8 12, 15....

Dony tell me again what... in real life, this is a fantasy game, based in ship with guns, aircraft or submarines not wellcome

@OP: Torpedoes ran on either magnetic fuse or impact fuse in WW2, there may have been ways to blow them up early but nothing used in an attack. This doesn't have a use nor a historical basis so no. Although i think they can do it with the modern torpedoes.

yes , yes some examples

Barham was hit by three torpedoes from the German submarine u331
three torpedoes  hit HMS Royal Oak (08) u47

Repulse three torps (Aerial)

Prince of wales 1+3 (Aerial) but the first one, crippled the ship

The examples of yamato, mushashi and shinano are bad examples

you forgot, for you own reason the bombs reach the battleships, and the attack of shinano was a 1400 yards with a complete salvo of six

And over fuses i recommend you read the book "Submarine" by Edward L Beach

he explains effects of early detonations, normally do nothing to attacked ships

another examples kitakami launch 120 torps (in the game we can load 150) at "Iron Bottom" only one hit that night, 119 not explode at end's run (in the game all torpedo explode)
