Do you get Hacking attempt error or just HS client error? Be a little more specific.

Hacking attempt error:
You have something running on your computer that HS doesn't like. Close all none essential programs. Strip it to the very core of windows. If this works you should turn on one program at the time and see if HS reacts on it. You can do it with the game running as it should force the client to close. There are tons of programs that HS doesn't like. For starters... Do you have any scripts running? Have you updated your AV and done a scan lately? And so on....

If you have stripped all programs off and only running Windows programs and it still doesn't work you might need to do a complete AV scan. Virus, trojans and whatnot can have this effect as well.

HS client error:
There are many possible problems what causing it and just as many solutions. Find topics from others and see if you can match your problem with somebody else who got it fixed.

Common problem with HS and registry cleaners are that it will remove the .dll's. This results in HS wont open or update correctly. If you are unsure of you might have deleted the files you will need to do a reinstall. Note that it's important that you use the HS Removal tool in order to remove any left-overs that can cause HS to do a bad install.
