Those are fire modes selected by F4 and dont increase or shorten your range.
Max velocity = Fire any gun that is reloaded.
Simutain = Fire all guns at once, but only when they all done reloading.
Gradual Fire = Fire all guns seperate by each hit on the spacebar.
