hopefully someone has expierenced this problem before:

I haven't played the game in a few months and I thought to give it a go again, but every single time I launch the game, it downloads and installs all patches that came out in the meantime... 229 files to be exact...

Is there some setting in the start-up script that tells the launcher to start from scratch with patching every start-up? If I wait until all the patching is done, the game works fine, but every time I start the game again, it wants to patch those same things all over again.

I want to try a clean install with a new .exe, but the download takes ages (either from ftp or cnet, doesn't really matter...)
