My grandfather on my mothers side and fathers side both served the USN during WW2. Only one is alive today and is in a nursing home which I will vist him on Memorial day. I live in his house he bult right after the war with my mother. We where going threw some things and I found his dog tag, one dog tag he made my uncle that died when he was a kid and a 20mm Mk2 round. He was an AA gunner instructor on USS California (BB-44) which was sunk on Pearl Harbor.
