Let's be honest here. The Monster Ship itself is a vain (and sad) attempt to emulate the 1-Norris boat from Missing In Action. Compared to something like that, Jack Bauer isn't even on the same plane of existence. Pair him against someone like MacGyver or maybe James Bond - that would be more appropriate.
