You cannot stop the start of game crashes.



The code that causes it is triggered regardlessly.

You can prevent it with some minor tweaking, however it only works on a case by case basis. All my PCs and laptops are tweaked differently to prevent the crash. The tweaks all cause the client to  crash in HAs so you end up having to run two installs of NF just to play Harbor Assaults.

not really true, its only luck.
cos i sometimes fire sometimes not and i keep crash like few seconds after battle starts 

Never had that problem.
Disableing DEP and not messing around with any options seems to have helped immensely.
But that is for Win7 64bit, I dunno about any other windows however.

Everyone have different conditions for game crash.

Mine, using 2nd ship for the day will absolutely trigger the crash.

IE, I'm bored with Le Havre, then decided to do some AA, I pull out my Emden, when the battle start the game crash. It's not just Emden(or Moltke), but everything 2nd ship I tried for the day, CV, SS, other BBs as well. Even if I use them on Training Mission to gauge the range.

Plus the crash after several games, with many fdd blue icons in my taskbar.

Anyone else crash when changing ship?
