Amazes me that this still needs to be said.  I suppose it's understandable from newbs but there are plenty of "veteran" players who either refuse to accept this or are in the dark regarding this issue  (which is why I never support suggestions that all veteran players should guide new players).  Open the trade window and there are countless AAW sales, Torpedo sailors with reload stats, multi stat pilots of course, the never ending parade of repair/restore featuring engine ability, and the ever frustrating UK ACC gunner....

The documentation and implementation of a lot of things are insanely bad, true. But the multi-stat pilots were actually more than a myth until patch 1.296 finally did away with the confusing system and went for the current "one stat for one pilot class" system. That change was adequately explained by people back then and could still be found by feeding Google with the patch number.

On the other hand, patch 1.296 was from late 2010. There shouldn't be any excuse for multi-stat pilots to show up in 2014, and the reliance on older players to pass down knowledge to newbies over actually trying to document anything is to blame here.
