It happened to me yesterday as well, and seems to be related to being in battle (or maybe just logged on) when the new day starts. They responded quickly to my ticket and fixed it, so it may be a known issue.

Then they refund you the missing box?, because KarmaGM said to me "the bug will remain until the event ends", but doesn't give me any box :S.
