  • Slow down BO, your too fast!

I am not sure if its a problem but my BO levels at the same rate with my gunners and I kinda not like it. I need my gunners to be ahead of my BO to improve spread. Any advice on how to slow down its growth?

You just can't.

Either live with that or level another BO to help in overall crew growth.

Most BB2-4 Guns are 2 levels ahead of the Ship level

I have the same problem, I just kinda live with it. Like it was said, you don't have to buy the ships as they become available.

Its amazing, my nebby bo can magically drive an alaska...

Just because your BO reaches a certain level does not mean you need to go out and buy that ship. Its perfectly fine to stay in the ship you are in to level your supports. Consider the alternative, running a higher level BO on a BB1 or BB2 and not having to worry about guidelines not being long enough.

Rule of thumb i try to use = dont go beyond 10 levels below ship level, or 20 above.

Thanks a lot guys! really appreciate all your inputs. And oh, I'm not in a hurry to buy a new ship. I'm currently happy with Brook while my BO is at lvl 50. Its like driving a DD in a CL body . My concern is just they are of the same level with my gunners but I'm currently leveling another sailor to be my secondary BO, so thanks a lot. :)
