Yes I am a tech, I have already cleared all registry keys for the game based on info from the forums, unless you have another idea. Thanks for the response!

Navigate to installed folder.. start NavyFIELD Launcher.exe
the error message you state is returned when attempt to start NavyFIELD.exe 

So I redid the entire uninstall, download, and reinstall of the game. Got the same damn error, "You do not have NF launcher"

After hours of messing with it, I am done! One should not have to go through all of this to play a game. I get the game is older, but with win 7 and 8 being out I waited this long to see if I could get it to work, it just wont. So now it looks like I wait for wargaming.net to bring out World of Warships, I already play Tanks, and Warplanes and well to be honest the graphics are 100Xs better. 

Its a shame, I realy enjoyed plaing this game in the past, and put a lot of cash out for it to help support it being a free game, and to get some of the ships I wanted. If you guys ever figure out how to fix a simple installer so it works, I may be back, after all I have madee and investment in the game both time and money.  

One other thing, I just looked up NF2 and se it was anounced in 2013, but the site is down and nowhere can i find to download it. Does that mean it was a flop? or an I not looking in the right place? I am maybe willing to give itatry, but so far, it looks bad for it as well. 

In any case, with so many other games out there I need to quite wasting time on this game and move on. I have already wasted most of my game time for today trying to come back, without success. Good luck all, hope the game works out, I will check back in hopes someone knows how to fix this issue.... till then see ya all in other games.

I had the same problem. I downloaded win7 support and nothing changed unless I remowed compability mode for nf.exe (it also worked with win XP SP2 but was lagging all the time).

Ok so i can log in, and i guess i can play...but ALL my stuff is gone. Starting to thik i should not play..... Off to support ticket see if they can bring my stuff back.

I am happy to say almost all my account stuff was returned to me over night except for 2 prem ships, which i am sure they will take care of with the new ticket. That said thank you again to those that responded with Ideas to help me get back in the game, and a big THANK YOU to tronex for his help as that was the wining ticket and got me back in. Hope to see you on the water bud, on my side of course. Now to get myself back into it and relearn the controls and how to play so i dont look like such a noob... I mean i am a noob and all, but i dont need to look like one.
