Just wondering what is up to date current ranking of BB5's. For me personally: UK>US>RM>IJN>MN>KM>SN what do you think? lets share ur personal opinion.

To rank BB5 is not personal opinion, we can use facts. BB5 rank has several consideration points;

1. Damage

2. Speed

3. Range

4. T slots

5. Scout number

U can add other points ie; size, turn rate, repair cap, etc.

Get each BB5 rating and you have your rank.

most important points missing: AW ability and Support slots - discussion ends right at this point.

It's hard to compare since each ship has its own playstyle.
You can't play H44 in the same way you would play an AW Lion II :)
I enjoy playing RM>KM>US>3 guns UK>MN>SN>>>2 guns UK (Ive never used IJN bb5)

Disagree... I wouldn't say that damage is more important than speed or range, it depends most on player style. I.e. if you dont suck too much you can easily kill a monty with a H44 without being touched...

That ranking won't say you what ship is better, it only means that each ship has a different way to be played efficiently so u can maximize your advantages over the enemy you are facing :D

And finally... Player >>>>>>> Ship.
Good player in any ship > Noob player in any ship. This is not debatable.

That's situational. Of course player skill make a different, also team play help alot. But if u take out the players skill and team play, my way is the way to rank the weapon it self (with less bias/preference). The higher BB rank (after rating it) the easier for player to use.

I only play US and UK bb5, so I have limited experience in terms of comparing different nations. But I want to look at it from another perspective. Using US or UK bb5, which nation bb5 is toughest to face?

For US bb5, the toughest bb5 to face I think is KM and pre-patch RM. The biggest drawback for Montana is low range. when facing against other bb5s, if both ships have sight, you have to play defensively in Montana. in that scenario, I have to be more careful against KM because it actually have enough range advantage to hit me without me being able to hit back. RM is tough because of range advantage and low angle guns, making it harder to get out of way. But post-patch RM is not as scary, as the gun angle is upped, and range decrease. Against other bb5s, the range advantage is not so great that if they turn it, I can always hit them first by falling back, especially against 45 deg guns for USSR and IJN.

For UK bb5, I really don't feel threatened by any other bb5 in the same way that I do in Montana against H44. If I had to pick, it would be MN. Because I like to use AA/HH on my BBs, I can only go 37 knots even without armor. So MN being the fastest BB5, I worry about being rush, even though I have range advantage. I guess how to defend against rush is something I'm still trying to get better at.

Lastly, no matter what ship I'm in, when going against Montana, I tend to be more careful, as one mistake can get me kill in one shot.

It depends on the game mode really. GBs you would want something with speed and damage. But if it was a BB5 room, H44 would dominate easily. L2 is the most balanced BB5 of all, But i find Soyuz to be  the most effective of all. Range,Damage,37knts and High angle.

Also I would say it depends on you as a player. A lot of guys can only play UK ships because of armor. Some can only play KM because of its range. A lot of guys hate 45 degree angle ships.

My preference is for whatever BB5 I have BO and crew for... it doesn't really matter with so many BB6, high-end EBB, and SS5.5 floating around.

Every bb5 is good, but to compare them....depends on the situation you are in.

Like Newyorkboy said, in BB rooms the h44 will stand out. I personally enjoyed playing the Alsace the most, followed by SN bb5 and IJN bb5. L2 is too easy imo, and Montana is not that much fun for me.

So personally: MN > SN > IJN > UK > US  (have not played KM and RM yet)
