Hi,

It seems that whever I hit  "Play Game!" in the launcher my game minimizes (I'm not alt + tab:ing) and I can't successfully maximize the game anymore. So even though my game is running in the background I can't get to it.

I've tried restarding  and reinstalling.

Any ideas how to resolve?

I have the exact same problem every time I boot my machine. The only way I've been able to fix it is to uninstall the game, delete the registry entries, use a registry cleaner, restart the computer then reinstall the game through the directories that you have to make by hand (Recommended in the faq thread) , run the windows 7 fixer, restart the machine, change the compatibility on all three NF .exes (Launcher, ENFUNS & NF client) to Windows 98/ME and run as administrator.

 

Then it works, but only for as long as the computer is on. Once I shut down and restart I get the same problem you're having and have to do ALL OF THE ABOVE AGAIN to start the game.

It's a joke.

 

Also if you're using Windows 7 make sure you check the DEP settings are set to exclude anything navyfield related
