Hi

Make sure you download the Logitech Mouse Software and try binding certain functions to your mouse thumb keys etc - I find it makes a big difference ingame.  (uses the latest revision from the logitech website not the CD that came with the mouse)

I use SS and ive just worked out I can bind Critical Dive to mouse and its really helping rather than using keys and the navyfield interface doesnt allow alot of keys to be binded.  You may have to mess around abit moving the keys around but this easy with a Logitech.  I find it saves me half a second on using the standard key setup.

Youve probably all being doing this, but if you havent I thought Id share.  If you have $25 hanging around I can highly recommended the Logitech G300 Gaming Mouse (i got mine new from ebay real cheap) just as a mouse, but also compatible fully on all the buttons with Navyfield.

If this helps anyway my job is done, cya ingame.

Below is my mouse, the (Back) button is now the 'J' key = critical dive in my Sub

Brad

edit :// Feel free to post a Config with your type of mouse that you might recommend

Your much better off getting the Logitech G700 or G700s if your going for a logitech gaming mouse.

They frequently go on sale, and I've seen them as low as $42.50 on Amazon new in the past.

Significantly better sensor, better ergonomics, some more buttons if you want them, Wireless or Wired, Rechargable AA (Runs fine of the cable if you somehow kill the battery, its also replacable by any similar stat recharable AA. I've literally seen one get accidently run over and the guy still uses it.

(Just note if for some reason you need to quickly put a non-recharable AA in it, be aware you can cause damage if you plug the USB in.)

The G700s is by far the best sub $80 gaming mouse I've ever purchased.

Also your not using the standard North American 101-104 key keyboard, for us, Crit Dive by default is " I ", as in Indigo.

Whatzup

This keybinding setting will give you much better control over your submarine and improve reaction time.

No need for a fancy mouse.
