I have to say after testing both new naval games this weekend, I was very dissapointed in the game play of both.

If I want to point and click I might as well just play a facebook game.

I think SDE should just take this game down for awhile and just redo it. This way they can fix all the broken code by making it in a new updated code.

The other 2 games I tested graphics were alot better (One of them was outstanding as far as graphics go), but the game play for both was just awful.

I dont think these companies understand that the game play is way more important than the graphics.

Even today the NF1 game play outshines these new games by light years. Too bad SDE just doesnt understand that.

Yes - I agree - clone NF1 with new architecture to stop crashes, desyncs and reduced bugs - to NF2 level graphics = blockbuster

What NF1 needs to have is a Hybrid room type.

Hybrid? what is that?

Well, it's a room type that allows players to play in ground and in water. For example,  there is some areas in the map, that is a mixed of water and land ( Harbors ), so, how about, adding ground ojetives , adding wwii tanks, artillery and AA defenses.  CVs players can play an importat roles, by sending fighters/ bombers to attack ground units. AA units attacks Planes.  On that map, it has a canal, that will allow the ships to cross the other side,  each side has a capital city.  First capital city to be destroyed, wins ( Harbor Attack  style )

this room style can be playable as new map for all audience and HA.

Agreed and recommended.

Trying to port WoT gameplay onto a style of combat that takes place kilometers between ships was a foolhardy proposition at best. NF1, IMHO, is still the best ship-to-ship MMO simulator in the market.

I think what NF1 can do is update the graphics at the very least and improve its public relations team~

I agree.

But to be fair, we should consider to sacrifice something in return. We cant expect SDE to invest in something where the most people have achieved all what is there to achieve. I speak of the people with all or nearly all BB6, CV6 and SS5,5. I would sacrifice all my crew and effort to be able to play a new NF1 lag, bug and desync free, with a starter packet for the veterans. The starter packet could be a percentage of the old stuff in the currency to buy new items and crews.

Getting accounts transferred wasn't even the question here. I'm pretty sure most of us would happily start over in a bug and crash free NF with new graphics.

Ultra_Dog

Navyfield has a desirable gameplay, in that multiple players compete on an evenly arrayed map.  The easiest comparison is Capture the Flag.

But it also brings in semi-realistic effects and graphics that sustain what would be an otherwise boring game.

I can play a CD-based game with superior graphics, no lag, and a decent AI...but the human competitor is always superior than any game engine.  Multi-player games bring unknown variables, making every game different.

We all have our wish list of features and changes we'd like to see NF1 have...but I don't think SDE sees the $$ in this investment.

I know it wasnt the question, but I think it is important that we make sure SDE knows that we are willing to start over. As Ultra_Dog said, SDE dosnt seem to think it is a profitable investment. Because of this and the bad experience with SDE there is also another option. We  buy the program via crowd funding ;)

I would gladly start over if SDE remade NF1 with all the gameplay mechanics kept.

Would a veterans starter pack be nice to get? Sure but I dont think I would mind just to completly start over.

The freinds and the fun is way more important then the money on spent on this game. So many good memories.
