Resolution or Dunkerque?

So I'm sitting on a EBB coupon at the moment, and I'm currently training a Nelly crew (lvl 54-58 atm). Going to start on building Revenge crew in a few days, and I was wondering which should I choose - or should I just use it for something else and stick with a Repulse?

level your crew on pbb Dunkerque due to more slot than Resolution and Valiant but you will have bare horrible spread with your low level gunners
for ebb, save it for a valiant, vanguard(ebb), DoE(although the number of slot between L2 and DoE are similar but easier grind from 113 to 120)

Not necessarily. I went full ebve on my gunners and now their Accuracy stat is sitting at +41 growth at about 1.7k ability... at level 60.

Not necessarily. I went full ebve on my gunners and now their Accuracy stat is sitting at +41 growth at about 1.7k ability... at level 60.
Well, at +41 growth, I'm assuming hero sailors? And classed on time as (oh the horror!) acc? Well, the good news is you should eventually hit the reload cap, but we're talking in the 100s if you don't have them seriously overvetted. Oh well. They'll be useable, just a bit painful for most of the grind. As for what to get. Honestly, I was not that impressed by any of the EBB3-. Even the valiant just doesn't stack up well against most of its competition, and I found the Dunk to just be better the whole time. I personally would go with the Vanny '46 or DoE. They'll serve you longer, and the Vanny especially is a solid upgrade over its regular counterparts in key areas, making it a great leveling ship.

Yes, classed on-time ACC... and that was just before I read the guides on the forum *guilty look*. I came from KM, so the whole ACC/RLD gunner split thing is a bit new.

It's okay. We all make mistakes. I have some IJN fighter squadron leaders myself :P It's just that, well, UK gunners have the greatest possible penalty for not doing it right - sort of an actual downside for a nation that's historically been otherwise all upside (they've had, at various points, the best DD, best CL, best CA, best BB1/2 and 3, arguably the best BB5 and 6). At least, being heroes, you'll actually reach the cap. If the reload stat was +11, I'd have told you to get another pair and level them from scratch!

@Dakkadakka: Well, if your gunners are not yet lvl 65 and thus, not classed huge acc gunner yet, DON'T do that last classing. You'll find them to be much more effective, especially later on, when they are lvl 90+.
@ErwinJA: IJN fighter squadron leaders? Did this classing actually exist and was subsequently abolished?

Okay then. In the meantime... must... resist... classing... Oh, and I've got a complement of standard 2nd engies and repairers sitting at 61 - when should I reclass them?

Sorry, got mixed up. I have DB and TB squadron leaders and Ace Fighters. Still fairly noobish. I won't get into the reps, torpedomen, and AA gunners that I just rolled and took whatever came (actually, most ended up being +10 in the relevant stat, but still . . . ).

Your standard 2nd engies and repairs won't gain anything from holding off the "1st" (and "CHF" for the repair) classing - go right ahead.
