  • My first impression of Navy Field.

Hello everyone, brand new noob here!

This has been my experience:

First off downloaded the game client, installed it. Corrupted data.
2. Went to the fourms, saw that there was 3 diffrent, pinned threads about this, did the first one.
3. Accused of hacking.
4.I tried the second thread.
5. Got a diffrent error (making progress)
6. Did the fix for the ITFPDITM2.SPR file
7. Got the corruption error again!
8. I tried the third thread
9. Accused of hacking.
10. Wrote this thread.
11. Going to play a diffrent game, Im going to bookmark this thread and might come back to see if Navy field has anything  to offer, im not too impressed currently.

i dont expect you to come back either. ive just tried installing the game after having stopped playing for over a year.

come back to this.

wtf sde? you expect to run a business and your core game design is flawed because your new customers cant even get on the fkin game without goin through hell and god knows how many wasted hours of doin crappy uninstalls/reinstalls to play it?!

where the hell are your priorities?!

if it wasnt for the fact i already got stuff on this game (providing its still there) then id have quit trying to install after the first install attempt failed. if someone new wants to try a new game, they expect to install it, try it and then perhaps stick with it. for you to make it a bloody maze for new people just to even get on the dam game.... just lols.

as person above said theres 3 different pinned threads on it.

WHY THE HELL IS THERE EVEN ONE?!?!
IT SHOULD BE A PRIORITY ABOVE ALL ELSE TO ENSURE PEOPLE CAN INSTALL AND PLAY THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

not good enough sde, i am dam well surprised to see this game is still going.

also it does not surprise me theres people moaning about wanting more exp and more free stuff.

thats what you reduced this game to btw.

Yes this game has a lot of bugs. Although SDE is working their butts off to fix them, You Will Get Used to the Bugs and have a fun experience of the game.

Don't be such a downer by Judging Books by their cover. Enjoy the game and if you HEAR problems that other players are having, don't be like:

"Oh that guy keeps crashing and hes yelling in the forums, I guess I better not play this game since that guy is not having fun."

You think you have problems? Try running this game for a change and we'll see how you feel in couples days. Running an MMO takes more effort in it than you think.

hahahaha enough said. Oh ya, and once you get the game installed, doesn't mean all your troubles are over yet. You have to HOPE that you don't crash when you:
1) first enter the battle room, within 3 sec
2) actually start the battle, within 1 sec
3) any other time.

Navy Field is like coffee or beer. It's an acquired taste. Once you get used to the bitterness of it, then you will start enjoying it.

Yup......YET AGAIN I HAVEN'T PLAYED IN A FEW DAYS ........ I GO TO LOAD THE GAME AND BLACK SCREEN BLACK SCREEN BLACK SCREEN BLACK SCREEN BLACK SCREEN I'M RIGHT OVER BECOMING A COMPUTER TECHNICIAN TO PLAY A GAME ON A REGULAR BASIS AND SHIT I PAY FOR THIS CRAP SORRY BUT AT THIS POINT CRAP YAWN JUST WASTED MORE TIME ON THIS BS I'M GONE SDE SO IS MY MONEY UNTIL I GET A REFUND FOR THE LAST MONTH OF BS AND THERE IS A PATCH RELEASED THAT MAKES THE GAME LOAD PROPERLY

And that's not all for newcomers, sadly.

I wonder when will they fix the FlagShips disconnecting before the battle starts.. just another frustrating and crappy thing we have to get used to in this game.
