I was not sure whether this should be under 'general' or tips/tactics or even suggestions, but i am sure it can be moved to the right place.

This post is specifically related to (mainly new) blitz room players (it clearly does not apply to GB rooms, as 99%+ of GBs last longer than 5 minutes)

1) We all have to wait at least 5 minutes. One thing no1 can do (going strictly by the book) is ask players to 'stop shooting, wait for the 5 minutes'. This is clearly against the rules (aka A/Bing, amongst other terms) and it can get players into trouble needlessly.

2) I recommend  that blitz room hosts during these '5 minute' events host a room type like Torp tomb, Iceberg map, etc etc etc (yes, there ARE more maps in blitz than the default no way out, and hobbit!!!).

3) To be asking players to delibrately hold fire goes back to point 1.
