  • Should I boost the torp sailor of SS4?

  I have a SS4 torp sailor with true capability about 850k. Has it reach the cap of torp? Should I boost the sailor?

 BTW: I find many players boost their torp sailor, but from the famous sailor capability guide post by Albert, the torp sailor cap is low(850k)
Why?

dont boost, rather boost planesman or sonar if you have the spare boost. after you capped it is useless, unless you want to use the boost to take some weight of your torpers. really would advise against it

boost if u have too many boosts eg. by event. then u can afford the luxury of making them even lighter.
Yes torpedo reload is capped at 850k true torpedo ability.
version A
true ability= displayed stat[eg. torpedo] x (number of expert+4x number of vets) x number of maximum ccrew / current crew number.
or version B
true ability= displayed stat[eg. torpedo]x number of crew x all percentages displayed behind the differnet crew stats(vets,expert,rocie[<-this one is minus or 0])

If it has 850k true ability, then you don't need to boost that torper.

Unless, you want to trim it, it means, making it very light weight sailor, by removing experts/rookies to still have the reload cap potential.
