  • Need some tech advise on graphics

I submitted a ticket and got a quick replybut i still have the same problem. Can a expert look at the post below and advize me?

Thanks for the qiuck reply but i still have the same problem.
1. Drivers are updated.
2. win7 resolution set to the max: 1920x1080
3. I re-installed the game.

Please advise

I have a 22" monitor and in the past wheni loaded the game it used the whole area.
Lately when i load the game it uses only part of the monitor, i have black colour on the left and right side as if it is playing on a 17" monitor. I Tried F-10 but there is no resolution option.
Im running windows 7

Any suggestions?

Please check your Win 7 resolution settings and if you need to uninstall and reinstall the game. Also, be sure your video card drivers are up to date.

theres nothing wrong with your nf,

nf got fix resolution = 1024 x 768

if your computer using a resolution higher than nf fixed resolution there will be blank space on each side, well its kinda annoying...

all you have to do is to change your resolution to 1024 x 768

from rumors i have heard there is some problems with vista and windows 7 i dunno if that is one have u tryed compatibility mode? that may work

Ampaa it worked fine till last week, it just started and i've had win7 for over a year now.

Didnt work phantom but i found the solution......

Had to go back to settings of the NVIDIA and there is a box i checked which says "overide the scalingmode set by games and programs"

Woot... back to normal :)

I'll have to try that with my ATI setup. I'll post results here for those of you who may be wondering if it will work. (Yea, I know nobody is)

I could not find this in my Nvidia settings. What section did you find this?
My problem is similar, since I updated my Nvidia drivers, the resolution has dropped and the screen
is horizotally stretched. The game looks horrible now.

Any advice appreciated.

I had this problem too. I adjusted 2 settings. Under "scaling" i went to "scaling mode" and choose "Full-screen."

Then "Perform scaling on" I got options for GPU and Display. I choose display and it worked.
