  • Revisit the old ways to gain more players.

When I first started playing this game when it was in beta there was the training area for new players, they could earn XP for completing the training missions and rank up their crew, and there were low level missions which were essentially co-op missions against bots where you could gain real experience by playing the game against opponents that matched your skill level as well as experience points to level up. What happened to that? were players abusing it? Well the way to fix it is not to completely remove it from the game but prevent the abuse, because those training missions and battles were invaluable to me to getting to know the game.

When I got back into it I was hoping to relive those missions and training excercises to remember how to play, but nope, forces you straight into Great Battle with lvl 120 players. That's ridiculous, I'm lucky I remembered a bit how to play the game so I knew what the hell to do before getting annihalted, but do you know how demoralizing that is for a new player? I mean I know some new players stick it out and good for them, but that does not cater to the majority. That's why most MMO's have beginners areas, or suggested level areas. If anyone cares about keeping this game going then you have to go back to that, the way it was, or at least something like it. Unless the dev's really do just want the game to die out, then it is definitely on the path for that.

Arrgh

The problem is that the majority of the player base does not visit NF main page or these forums, they do not really voice their opinions as they should.

They wind up dicouraged ingame and trolled when they do voice an opinion or idea to impliment to this game, and thats the end of it.

I like your idea, I hope you are heard.

I agree, but with the small amount of players that actually play now (with barely any new players), its just not viable to split the community up into different rooms.

Splitting the community isn't the answer; Fixing the desyncs is.

To make this game more friendly for newcomers would actually be a good idea.
- Set up FF automatically with aiming FCS instead of auto FCS on new neutral ships.
  - Let people choose what class they want to go, let them read the game manual when       settting up the account and then let them pick a line. This should give them Yellow Sailors for example a nice BB crew that consists of 14 sailors, or a CV crew that consists of 12 for example.
- Some starter tips about playing ASW ships in GBs and what to play in a Blitz.

I can't help but agree with LJ because if desyncs go away or are less likely to happen MORE fleets would do HA's and with that people become more active.

I suggest you move the deck chairs to the Port side of the ship near the orchestra.
