Just a little word to say that since last week, when I upgraded my PC's RAM to 16 GB and put on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, not a single crash nor lag.

The rest of the system is as it was before. I didn't have that many crashes (fewer than so many people that I read here), but enough that it was annoying. I only rarely had lag as well.

After the update to Win 7 pro 64 bit, I appreciate how much more reactive my planes are now, for example.

Then I fiddled around with the Windows pagefile size - when it was reduced, crashes would appear. So I put the pagefile parameters back to "system managed".

NF runs without a glitch now (I haven't installed the NF Win 7 patch).

Not to say that we should all do the same, but this information might just be helpful to the developers.
