  • Windows 10 Compatibility Issue

I just got on the Windows 10 wagon and I cannot run NF. 

Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you fix it. Guessing it is as simple as reinstalling the game, but thought I'd ask first.

Hello uniyh,

I'm currently running windows 10 at the moment, for me is very smooth, may i ask what happened on your computer screen ??

If the NF completely not work for example wont load the game windows up or troubleshoot keep poping up  I will suggust you reinstalling the game first and run as administrator.

My issue is when I click "play game", screen goes black like it normally does, but instead of the loading screens I get an alert saying "NF has stopped working....bla bla bla" 

Thanks for the Link AndrusN, that should get me through it.

I have just upgraded to Windows 10 Home build 10240 (from command prompt type systeminfo) i get the screen graphics to change color and freeze about 20 seconds into the game and audio continues. All can do is end it from the task manager. I am going to make this work as i do not like NavyField 2 and windows 10 is the way of the future so let's make it work. I will post my success and failures in detail.

11/23/2015 i moved on to a different hardware platform because everytime i tried to update the driver for video, the manufacturer did not have a Win10 Comp driver. So i upgraded my old Windows 7 hardware that ran NF but would exit after a few games.

NF now running on Windows 10 with these settings:







after the Windows 10 upgrade i uninstalled the old version of NF and downloaded current from website. Then downloaded the Windows 7 support. Ran the compabitily wizard on Launcher.


NF still stops responding about every 6th game, but the graphics and audio are smooth.

i'm using win 10 pro.... nf runs but doesn't run in full screen(it doesnt strech to full screen).
 any idea how to solve this??
