Good afternoon Davy i havent had usn carrier very long time but did ressurect one for a very little short time.Now to answer your question on what type cv to role. For the time been only state different kinds rather a few of them.

Following:

Fp whore 6min fighters 2 seamen sometimes a scout as well,

TB torpedoman all min of 5 and up,

DBS  Divebombers min 6andup + seaman divebomber based.

For me i like multi purpose cvs.

5fps 2 dbs 2 tbs 2 seamen 2 aa 1 eng

are 5 to 6fps sct 1 seaman fps based if goingfully fp.

There are making combos you can go with.

Now states for cv are another matter can take long to explain but ill say this atm.

Depending on type cv you want balance between fps and seaman dbs. Seaman is good to for tigher formations on sqds of planes look for how many vets experts as well you add to FPs DBS TBs SCTs. This is all ill say for now. Someone esle can give you far more detail listen into this happy gaming wish you well.

Its what you want, Do you want to be a big d**k and shoot down other peoples fighters, Torp Bombers and Dive Bombers (Fighter whore) Do you want to be a help to your Team Mates with Torpedo Bombers and Dive Bombers (Torpedo Bomber Whore/Dive Bomber Whore) or a mix of having some Dive Bombers, Some Torp Bombers, Some Fighters and 1 Scout.

By far you only need one scout pilot if your going to have a scout at all, and only launch 1 because by the time it gets shot down, you might have your next sqaud ready to attack
