It was a good decision by TeamNF to do no medal reset.
But they announced it to late and so many player have purchased items just to get something for their effort and not to lose all medals for nothing.
Because they didn't reset the medals there are some players who would like to get their medals back which they had to pay for the items.

My suggestion is:
Remove the items from their account and refund the medals they had to pay.
