Hi folks,
we all love us our non-permanent event and want to get the most out of it. The rules are clear, to get a win counted for the event you need to make damage or down a plane and stay in the battle room for at least 5 minutes.
That's seldom a problem in Great Battle, but in Blitzkrieg. By definition BKs are small, sometimes it even takes several attempts to get the minimum of 8 players. Combined with the newly allowed lvl 60 – 79 ships that can lead to one side getting sunk within 2 or 3 minutes. The rest of the time the winning team needs to keep their cool and let the clock run down. Mostly this is done by shouting at the players who keep shooting (or worse torping) to stop, smoke-in the last enemy ship or even humping it to avoid a premature kill. Unfortunately TKing is not an option because of auto-ban and the whole point to all this is to stay in the battleroom for at least 5 minutes...
I find that, to put it calmly, quite annoying. Especially because some people seem to troll the other players by driving big ships in BK and sinking the last ship on purpose. The only solutions I found for me are either quitting to play for the day because I can't get my EP with those guys playing anyway or hosting the next room and banning repeat offenders after offering them a penalty round in a FF first. The latter leads to both, depending on the character of the particular player, either the realization their behavior was unsocial and they change it in the next rounds, or unreasonable whining and threats of reporting with no change in behavior, still killing the last DD with a minute to go and coincidentally also go-spamming in unbalanced 9 player rooms that haven't even been open for 5 minutes. I also believe that some players are avoiding BK even during events just because of that.
We need a solution for this, either a clear official ruling for how to act in these situations or a change in event conditions regarding Blitzkrieg or lowering the level cap again or gun cap at 8” or allow stacking/balancing by host... anything, PLEASE!
