I disagree.  Players spending money will not increase the number of players playing nor the playerbase.  The game needs both: players spending to maintain the financial status of the game and players playing to provide good playing experience in the game.  Events help to increase the number of players playing.  When I log in nowadays, there is only one room and it hardy gets full.  I may log in at the wrong time, but this is not encouraging.  In addition, events do not mean free items.  Those weekend events in Dec and Jan on exp and vet boost were quite effective without giving out items. 

Having said this, I agree with him on his #1 and #3 points.  The GM and Mod are doing their best, so we should be patient.  In addition, new ideas are not necessarily all good and it takes time to implement.   

 

 

The excuse of having multiple tickets being sent out everyday cannot be used anymore, the game is dying faster than it is being rebuilt. I completely understand that Vinnison might be overwhelmed, but he is the only one that can practically bring in older players. I was lucky that when I sent a ticket to restore my account, it was done within a day, and I am trully grateful for that, but you have to understand these players frustrations. Most of them cannot move within the game without their accounts back, and most of these players have spent countless days, months or even years building their accounts.

Your #2 is also outdated. 5-8 years ago, you could actually get into a room, and have it filled to the brim in a matter of seconds. Now it takes 10 minutes for a decent room to be filled, and battles lasts sometimes less that 5 minutes. NF needs more events to at least insentivize people to play, wether it be, playing for skill or getting their hands on a BB6, CV6, etc. 

Im sorry twofaced but u have to stop treating this game as it once was. This is a new age of nf so any past experiences you may have had are out of date. And i agree i dont like the idea of just handing out items, but at this point, if thats what brings and keeps people. thats what needs to be done. We are long past the times of being selective on what is the best way and what will make everyone happy. sounds like trash but it is how it is. At the ned of the day THE GAME NEEDS PLAYERS. No one in there right mind is going to spend money on this game if they get on and theres is slow paced lobbying(im speaking for somone who is new to the game and may not knoww the state of it) yes your ideas seem good to you, and me to be honest. but we have been around awhile and know what it was like, new people do not. new people (what the game needs) will feel happy if they get what they think are amazing items right out of the gate. (they will feel better about investing there time) and they will create a long term player....ok i feel im going on and on at this point, what im trying to say here is they need to focus on new playes because i dont know how to tell u this but. no new players= no money, then = sde pulls the plug and no one gets nf. sde in my eyes dones not care at all about this game. it does not make them money like it did, they have moved on to nf2 on steam, and nf2 will make them more money because its better made for this day and age( simple and instant no skill gradification) 

And b4 u ask me to spend my money on this game to make it come back...why should i? why should i invest my money into a game that could be gone at anytime, it is not my job to keep nf alive for sde. 

 

1. When 1 player send 10 tickets from 10 of his different accounts, imagine that, no matter how many manpower we got we will still got outnumbered this way.  I emphasis again and again, from now on there is no need to have more than 1 account. We will design events that no one can abuse it with multiple accounts anymore.  Of course you are welcome to build up multiple accounts if you got the time, or even help your fleetmates to build their accounts. But if there are something bad happens when you shared account, e.g. crew stealing, someone swearing/hack/do any bad things on your accounts, then we will ban related accounts according to your MAC address and IP, so it's ok if you want to have multiple accounts but you bear the risk of it as we have warned the community.

2. Event are supposed to bring fun instead of item/xp orientated. And it will be the policy from now on to focus on bringing fun to the community instead of only free drop and crazy xp.  If you are after XP, you may consider about premium account.  In upcoming month, we will boost Free and premium account xp to ensure players have to spend proper length of time before reaching ultimate goal while getting  reasonable xp.  Our event team will have a 6 vs 6 event on March while a new event will also arrive on 8 March.

3. Actually we gathered lot of ideas from the community and made changes base on those if you didn't notice. And that's why we have different polls too.  But Rome isn't built in 1 day.   Fixing codes and adding new things is not as easy as it looks.

5. HQ bugs hopefully can be fixed on April, and after we tested latency from worldwide, we will have another server move on 8 March, so that players from different parts of world should all have a more reasonable speed to the server.
