There are three sets of guns and options available for Warspite.

15" Dual Guns

15" Mark III (lvl 64) is the standard "at level" gunset for QE, and works on the Warspite too, allowing you to mount a fair bit of armor and use a heavy AA armament in your T slots. The level 82 L guns can also be used, but you are limited to 2 binds of ammo, and should only be used if you really want the longest range possible.

16" triple Guns

The 16" Mark I L guns (lvl 80) are the "standard" for warspite. They don't leave much room for armor or AA, but you have 12 barrels of respect with ample ammunition. Run 0.2 belt, a little bulkhead, and as much bulge as you can pack on without slowing down, and that's about it.

14" quad Guns

If you want to run completely unarmored, you can mount four 14" Mark III quads on here (the N version the one that blockshots so deliciously). Your range and speed will be poor, but you know and love the firepower on these bad boys.

Anybody knows the precise range difference between the 15" Mark III N and the L guns?

Some people say range is the same.

The range is, for all practical purposes, the same. Solo testing the marks gives me that answer. There might be a pixel or two more range, but not enough to warrant the extra reload time.

Excellent, thanks very much. Confirms what I thought: so Warspite with QE guns it is then.

Actually, the Ls do reload faster, but that's really the only benefit of those guns. And ihmo not worth it, considering you can only carry two binds with them on Warspite.
