  • [to GM] Are we forgotten?

We are aware of the latency issue for some Russia, China and Asia players after server moved to East coast USA.  We are discussing with some companies for internet solution. At the same time please ensure you have good internet connection and enough RAM while running NF.  Firewall may also affect your speed.

We are sorry for the issue and looking for possible solution. Thank you.

--These are your reply on lag problem.

Then After half a month, have you TeamNF  found the solution? Or it's already been executed but helped nothing? At least I know that lag coursed by distance can never been eliminated, thus Server transfer (to a more equitable place) is essential.

I think players from Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Eastern Russia and China, more than half of the online clients are eagerly waiting for your answer.

Steam release may be useful to enlarge the Group, however I bet you TeamNF know pretty well about the threshold entering Navyfield game. So Please do cherish old players, purse of NFNA.

The undersea optical fiber across the Pacific ocean lasts 18000 kilometers long, from Korea to Western America.

Since the speed of light in the optical fiber is approximate 200,000 kmps, it takes at least 180 ms to communicate between Coasts of Pacific.

Worse Still, the Server now is located in Virginia, not California or Washington state.

So Even the Best hosting company can not help unless they change the location of Server. Most of my teammates suffered from a 300 to 360 latency( use tracert command since the Server address reject us to ping it) at least.

hello!

hmm...then tell me, why server at west coast (the last) had been the best server for me since i play NFNA?

the actual at east-coast should be less far away for me - germany - but far more crashes

maybe i have super-special-cable, because i live very close to the biggest US air force installations in europe :-))

hey nsa, i am a hacker, thx for your highspeed line :-))

mr.fisher seems to be right...(maybe other topics too)

Hi buddy,

That's Good news for us,

since west coast is also the place I have recommended in that post,

I think this means we players from both Eastern Asia and Germany have quite a lot in common on the Server location topic.

Hello Liming,

Sorry for the lag.  Seems you are from China, the problem is complicated. There are 2 main ISP providers in China. One mainly serve the northern part and one for southern part. And sometimes one ISP doesn't lag to our server and another one does. So it's hard for us to configure the best setting for players in your area.

If you want to help us in future server location adjustment, please take the following 2 test and screenshot the result to us.

Hi Vinnson,

I knew that the server now is located in Virginia, and I already have suggested my teammates to do a test from Two Weeks ago, which is to "tracert -h 60 52.45.87.23", I think you know my point very well. We trace it until reach the router 54.239.******( in Ashburn, Virginia). I think I have made myself quite clear.

The results from both the 2 main ISP in China you have mentioned, are 290~330 for China Unicom, and 340~360 for China Telecom. They are all unbearable. Have you ever played LOL or CSgo or Battlefield 1 under a 300+ latency? If not, maybe you can ask Buzz Aldrin about the feeling of Moonwalk, may be he can still remember the detail of Project Apollo.

Either way, I will still try to persuade them to run the 2 tests you suggested. Screenshots will follow when I gather enough proof from my teammates using service from both ISP.

For players from Russia, the current location server is the best over the last few years.

Quite different from the statement of Andreyeff,

Russia is the largest Nation after all.

Thank you.  And as I know some of you using accelerator, does that improve the speed?

Yes, of course it does improve the speed. As for me, I can only log in the game when using it after the Server location was transfered to East America. And the accelerator also reduce the result of "tracert" command, from 439 to 367.

l have already asked my teammates to run the two tests and send the images to me. They read from 320( China Unicom) to 398( China Telecom).

Please note that they all use 47 accelerator. Unlike ExpressVPN or other VPNs, this tool was useless to accelerate website pages( as we have tested) but does well accelerating games and "cmd" window etc. and it greatly reduce the Packet Loss Rate.

But After I have gathered 5 or 6 person's proof, I found it impossible to upload the images to this post, and I was quite sure about the fact( most of them use English only when things get irreparable due to language barrier) that they are disinclined to send tickets including pictures.

If they told me that they have sent tickets to report it, I have no way to ensure that they really did.

Will you( rather than someone else) receive the tickets from "Bug report" directly? Maybe l have to decide how I can contact you through a more rapid method( with image uploading function).

Hi Vinnson,

Here are some of the pictures of the latency tests you demanded:
