Since you brought it up, I'm curious. Do escort ships get counted and balanced for teams the same as if they were a separate player?

I believe so. At least, they're counted in the ship list on the top (20 BB, 8 CV, etc.)

escort on cv is fine but on bb is kinda annoying, especially when it crosses you multiple time,

but

aaing reynaud + emden as escort is kinda rocks XD

to solve crossing esscort 1st use a APA engine so that ur AA ASW esscort is slow wich in turn will give more space

Whats even more hilarious is having a BB capable of using fantastic AA, only to have a crappy escort get in the way of everyone else when certain BBs begun to run.
