Oh dude. Its not the first time, that you misunderstood the context of a thread.
Its so obvious, that this is not about discussing the legal point. This thread determines the fact, that they did not rely on their announcements about the event.
Often people do silly things, although they might have the right to do them. In this case it is silly, because they sneakily took something away without need, although they announced to their customers to keep it for a defined time. Then customers plan their dispostions according the once given announcement.
BTW, what you also miss in your always flippant and ignorant manner is, that not every term written in conditions passes a legal review. But that depends on the local law and jurisdiction and is obviously not subject of the present thread.
Finally I want to remark, that I am getting a bit tired of explaining to you the meaning of certain words.
