Ask the cv players that have played for years. Unless they drop $$$$ for special elite super Santa sailors with +18 fighter stats. The basic rolled sailors of +12..stand No chance in the air.
without money you are useless in this game...

You must not have the ability or the resources to have played a BB7. When you have a ship that out ranges every ship in the game. You naturally win. The KM bb7 out ranges every ship in the game. 
This game missing an event becomes a HA and HD only game for me. It's in fact the only reason I even stick around during events.
Now. Going against a fleet of 7-10 BB7s. With only bb6s. It becomes pay to win. When a player that doesn't supply money for in games items, can not get access to special items it becomes a pay to win game. 

Bb7 is only redeemable from spending $$$$$$. Since a BB7 can not be purchases with medals, or won from a prize. It is no available to free playing players. 
It's now a free to play game. But pay to win. Since anyone willing to drop 700 for a ship can shoot farther and hit harder then any free obtainable ship. 
Now please, stop preaching your free to play game agenda. This game has never been fair for free to play players.
