Purpose of this forum section
The purpose of this forum section is to provide a place for groups of players or fleets to discuss ideas for community hosted events (tournaments, gatherings, etc.). Event organizers may also request aid from the Event Team in this section for oversight and prizes for their event. This section may also be used to give updates and details during community events as well.
This forum section is not meant for discussing SDE hosted events. Threads that are created here for the purpose of asking, discussing, or complaining about SDE events will be deleted to keep this forum clear of non-community event related chatter.
This forum section will be monitored by the current event team leadership. We will also announce any Event Team hosted event details here.
How to request prizes/aid
When you are at the point of planning your event that you wish to request prizes or assistance from the event team, here are the instructions to send a request.
1. Within the subject of your thread, include a [Prize Request] tag.
2. Include a link to your event details within the message.
3. Include prizes that you wish for us to provide for your event in the message.
4. Include a timeframe of the event with an estimated count of how many players will be attending/competing.
The event team leadership will review your request and discuss if we can provide the prizes or assistance. We will provide the requestor with information for when we start reviewing the request, the status of their review, and the prizes/assistance we will provide after our discussion.
How to request prizes to be paid out.
After your event has completed, return to your original [Prize Request] thread and reply to it with the usernames of the players who are to be awarded prizes, and what prize they should be awarded. This should not be based on your requested prizes, but instead what we have offered as the prizes.
We will provide a confirmation after the prizes are given out.
