  • Game direction?

Can we have a civil discourse about what is to come and what we would like to see happen to this beloved and hated game... I've played this game a long time. Trade needs to be addressed. The event with just BB5s and lower in GBs was a lot of fun. I think maybe doing that every weekend or other events with other levels would be fun,BB4 <, BB3< and so on. I have a lot of suggestions and yes I know that there is a suggestion section but I'm just looking for a constructive discussion. I know there are still bugs, but I also think they have inproved. I know that you have a very devout community that are here and would help. I also know that not hearing from the Mods are a little disheartening. I'm really just trying to figure out how I can help, because it's the only game that I still play and want to see it thrive. I'd like to know if there is truly future planning, or are we just playing out the clock?

Getting out lower ships in gbs would be fun. I don't know how much programming they can do but the split in gb would be great if the ships lined up on the front line instead of the side and the timer was 15 deconds. Also if you couldn't see the other side that would be cool, but I know that may take too much coding.

Honestly, the most fun I've had with this game was back when it first launched out of beta, when there was only a trade system and no pay for anything. Every battle had a huge variety of ships, and it took literally years to grind to a BB4 or CV4.

That's the major problem with level-grinding games . . . after enough years, everyone has top-tier everything and it gets boring, and new players get hammered every game in low-level stuff and quit.  Now it's even worse, I started a new account in September when steam launched, and already have BB5's in 3 nations, and haven't played all that many hours to get there. It was a lot of fun early on, when there were tons of lower-level players in a lot of rooms, but that changed quickly with the speed-leveling.

Now every game is dominated by top-tier ships, and I've seen too many of them one-shot every low-level FF & DD in sight before they'll engage other BB's clearly within their range. Even with a lower level BB, your options seem to be rush in and try to land a hit or two before getting swatted, or hang back and hope someone on the other side screws up and you get in a shot or two before being swatted . . .I know that's just how it goes, but still, not much fun game after game, so people stop playing.  Events get new players, and that's good for a while, but soon even they speed-level up to top-tier ships and we're stuck again with the same cycle.

I think having blitz rooms actively open and filling with newer and low-level players that get a chance to actually play before getting 1-shotted, having at least a points and credits trade or donation system to help newer players with their ships and crew classing/leveling, and mods and GM's actually holding events in rooms might help . . .

heyho!

every high-EXP event is a nail more in the coffin!

maybe 200%, thats far enough, but NEVER more!

And then increase credits AND points, too!

nowadays, without trade system , you get your tier5 or 6 crew quite fast. but how long does it last to get the credits&points for the ships?

and the points for the veterans???

annoying, isnt it? collecting medals is the faster way to (E)BB6 !

any "newbie" will give up frustrated after some weeks...

and the veterans laugh and level their next-generation-supa-dupa crews faster and faster...sitting on their useless millions creds/points

other important point never read here:

dont forget the "non-paying-players"

in short sight they dont pay, no profit is generated. but they are the "player-masses" needed to fill the rooms !

no players = no paying players at all!

if you play now and dont buy olives for experts, you have no chance  to be competitive by far.

effect: stop playing no...playing sometimes - but stop leveling!

with trade ther would be a chance to do something , but without - game over!

last years some experts gain in events had been possible when playing enough/lottery etc. nowadays its a joke (last event: 20 experts in 100 battles...hahaha)

-> non-paying players leave-> no player base-> less paying players->less profit

for me, i am such a non paying player. i stopped leveling completely.

i have credits and points for several tier6 in HQ, but no more experts...so its useless for me to level anything.

some single battles, some HA, thats all.

maybe a single olive for every 2nd win per day (not the first!)  or something like that would change a lot. the medal for logging-in is a joke

login, medal, logout ...sorry guys, that generates no playing...

greetings
