Explanation of "Monstership (or Nuke Duck) Invasion":
Monstership invasion is meant to be a fun, yet extremely challenging (or near impossible) event that harbor owning fleets may participate in that challenges their skill and teamwork.
Here is how it works:
1) A harbor owning fleet may request the Event Team to "Invade/Attack" their harbor.
2) Based off of harbor declaration availability, and first come first serve basis, we will declare on the requestor's harbor. (We do not have the ability to override another fleet's declaration, therefore if another fleet declares on that harbor, we will be unable to declare and we will move to the next requestor)
3) Upon the day of the Harbor Assault, the Event Team will use either a Monstership or Nuke Duck for the Assault.
4) The defending team must SINK the Monstership or Nuke Duck before it reaches (and parks) in the harbor.
Rules for Fleets:
1) A fleet may only request 1 assault within x time period. This rule is to allow other fleets the chance to request an assault AND prevent a fleet from using the event as a way to defend their harbor from other fleets.
2) A fleet must SINK, the monstership to win. It is not enough to merely successfully defend for the entire time.
3) A fleet cannot park members inside of their harbor to prevent the monstership from shooting at them.
Rules for Event Team:
1) The Monstership my not fire upon the harbor, however, if a defender is attempting to park inside or near the harbor to prevent being fired upon, the defending fleet is responsible for any damage to their harbor or the potential loss of their harbor due to accidental damage.
2) The monstership shall take the shortest, most direct route to the harbor, subject to change upon proof of concept testing.
3) The monstership must sink all Surface Ships that block its path to the harbor before parking and declaring victory. Explanation: If a hidden submarine parks on the other side of the map, or a surface ship is hiding away from the harbor, it is not blocking the path, nor being a threat.
4) The monstership shall not take a harbor. If a fleet decides they wish to shell their own harbor....Well, can't really stop them from making their own decisions.
Prizes:
Due to the difficulty level that this event is supposed to provide, This event may provide better prizes than our normal "Sink the Monstership" mini-events. Prizes will be decided upon during proof of concept testing.
