  • How do I know if my Gunner abilities are capped

Recently, my elite gunners just had vets killed a couple of times in battle, and now I'm left with only 95 vets on one of them. However, with almost full experts, the ability bar of the gunners are still kinda maxed out.

I'd like to ask if there is an easy and reliable way to determine if my gunner abilities are still capped. I do not want to invest into converting vets if their abilities are already capped.

My gunners are lvl 99 atm.

Suffern
If classed on time, almost a certainty.
If you click the 'RCT' button it will display your Vet|Exp|Rec and on the far right some percentages. Add those up to get the net effectiveness of your crew. Fill your recruits if necessary.
Multiply that percentage * Number of crew * Displayed ability, The result is your 'True Ability'.

Accuracy cap was (and although changed the difference is not much)
4706 * Gunners' level + 1000000

If the result of the first calc is equal to or greater than the second, your gunners are capped. Generally with 100 vets, full experts, boosted, and +10 base; the last class to reach the cap are UK Rel Gunners around level 85.

Thanks to Aldebert.

Don't forget you gunners have 2 skills that have independant caps. Accuracy is what Suffern was writing about.

The other one is reload. If the gunner's true abulity (calculate as Suffern told you) is higher than 2.2 million or something they are capped for their reload stat. So, unless you're using unboosted +10 UK or US ACC-ACC gunners your gunners should be above the reload cap easily.
