Stras is good with high lvl crew ( as in 90 + ). Otherwise use the Dunk. You will benefit from it, and it gets even better at higher lvls

Spread on the strass with 95+ gunners still frustrates me to no end. If I could talk myself into spending money on NF again, I'd of bought a dunk just based off my experience on the UK dunk. To be honest though, I was through the strass before the angst got the best of me, 10 levels at that point isn't too bad.

Blazer, you might wanna know, the gameplay of the Dunkerque and Strasbourg are completely different.
Dunkerque: Good Back-up Battleship, great for giving a final blow, or a first strike vs larger BBs.
Decent speed, not exactly the USS Defiant of navyfield, but decent.
Strasbourg: Basically the Klingon Bird Of Prey of Navyfield, only, your cloaking device is the blindness of your enemy,
when they are blind, take advantage of this thing's very high speed, and tiny size for a BB3, (Good God, Its the size of a CA!). Keep in mind, the Dunk's gameplay can be done on the Strasbourg very well, better than the Dunk can,
but you will find every match rather boring if you do so.
Also, you might wanna get EBVE gunners if you dont have em already, really really helps with the acc problem, and also, you will find that even though you lose range, strasbourg HHE shells are more accurate.

As I have experience only with UK dunk, I'll leave it at this. It is not merely a final blow or back up ship, it is extremely effective through virtue of speed and UK bonuses. Quite capable of soloing ships. EBVE'ing gunners that are capped outside of level is meaningless. By level 95 with normal 100 vets and full experts boosting and over vetting will do nothing, only levels will improve their performance. HHE shells are more accurate or percieved more accurate as they are shorter range. Fire most any gun at a lower angle or closer shot and you will get the same effect.

valid point, also, when something is heavy, it's generally more stable in the air :)
