They are only commited to eyecandy and not to gameplay. Which is not what any game deserves if you ask me.

That franchise lost my support when they decided to withhold server software and mod tools because us modders wouldn't be able to learn their "complicated" mod tools for their new third version of their flagship game.

"Here, let's deny them mod tools so we can make more money off commercially hosted servers, and insult their intelligence as a thinly veiled excuse."

It's a shame, I was planning on buying it, but the only real way to protest is to not give them any more of your money. I put that money into olives instead, actually.
