I have the same probelem with sighning in and it saying the files are corrupted. Can any one tell me what is going on?

Reinstalling works for me.

Had the exact same thing. Redownloaded the latest client and reinstalled. Works perfectly now.

unzip data file> from Download page. unzip to navyfield folder in game directory

it just odd... d/l the entire game 1.223 version

and have to jump hoops and ring bells to get the game to work

known SDE for a long time, so when i read that there was trouble with the new patch i just re-d/l the entire thing

but i have gotten a huge amount of different errors...
from corrupt files over version missmatch to hackshield just stopping ....

but will doing the data fix help?

This happens when you have an older version of NF. If you have missed a few patches since the last time you logged in you will need to reinstall.

Same. I have downloaded the manual patch. I have installed the patch. I have ran Navyfield and it was laggy like never before. I then downloaded the latest datafile unzip thing w/e. I have copied and replaced EVERYTHING from that .zip folder. I ran Navyfield AGAIN, and...it doesn't even work. Then i uninstalled EVERYTHING, and i deleted EVERYTHING that has got to do with Navyfield (Or at least i thought that's everything cuz i searched in appdata folder too), REDOWNLOADED Navyfield. REINSTALLED Navyfield. RERAN Navyfield. It still gave me 'Data file CORUPTTED'. This is like, the worst patch ever. =.=" Not gonna play this game much less even the ability of starting this game is absent, so yeah. :l I jus got my BB6 too...this is so dissapointing.
