  • Main.dll and MSVCRTD.DLL ?

I have tried downloading the files given for the solution to the "data file corrupted" thing. when I extract the files to /Navyfield or whatever, it says Main.dll and MSVCRTD.DLL could not be removed. may this possibly be why the fix isnt working for me? When i continue anyways and start the game, before it even gets to the login screen, it says my account has been hacked (makes no sense, haven't even logged in) and makes me shut the game down. After that, when I try NF again, the updater downloads 15 files, I try logging in again, data files corrupted. open the updater after that, and it does the infamous "35 files".
I'm running this game on Windows 7, newer laptop, and haven't played in a long time. Used to play a few years back. I come back to NF to find the whole thing in crisis, and I'm quite disappointed, this game has a lot of potential, and I'd absolutely love to play again.
Please help, anyone!

The error, "Data file has corrupted" occurs when any of your .data files are corrupt/missing/etc (kinda self explanatory). As for the .dll files being unable to be removed, this usually occurs when the file is in use. I'd suggest the following:

1. Reboot your computer
2. Do NOT run NF. Run the fix for data corruption (either manual or automatic is up to you).

If you are still unable to delete/overwrite these files, boot into safe mode and delete them manually. They are located in the default folder: C:\Program Files\SD EnterNET\NavyFIELD

Once you have deleted them, reboot windows normally and run the fix.
