I see no reason to stick with AD, unless your support crew are way behind your BO.

Bismark is a great BB3, with the best range of its tier, good firepower and decent speed. Spread is also among the best at level of its tier.

AD sole advantage is the extra support slot it offers, for the rest its outperformed by the bismark from A to Z, safe the hax hitbox/turnrate/submergence ratio.

Due to that, AD is pretty much the ship where you really DON'T SEE what KM playstyle is about. That thing pulls the fictory card better than UK ships. If only for your own sake, I'd take the bismark before jumping on the H39.

I played the AD up to my H39 with no problems.
As aingeal said, it has one more support slot and it is more forgiving than the Bissmark. If your supports are lower than the rest of the crew, this can help you level them up pretty good.

In the end, the decision turns into what you need.

Pros of the AD:
- Extra support
- Hax hitbox/turnrate/submergence ratio
- Premium Ship Exp.

Cons of the AD:
- Not at all KM Playstyle.

Pros of the Bis:
- KM Playstyle

Cons of the Bis:
- Normal Ship Exp
- Paper (like all KM)
- BB3 support slots.

There are more pros and cons for each ship, but those are the most regular ones considering the decision you are asking for.

I played the AD because I needed the support slots.
But I also bought the Bis because of the KM Playstyle. I played mostly with the AD, but the Bis gave me a good base for H39 gameplay.

Play Bissy if your supports are at level with your BO and your gunners are at least 2 levels ahead. If your support crew is 15 to 20 levels behind your BO (Like me) you can still play the Bissy if you have good enough gunners, although you will suffer.

I like both. AD is nice for change to not get bored. Can do some interesting things in it. Did most of my grind to H-39 in Bismarck though.

heres a question... if u buy ad... does it appear in ur harbor.... or do u buy it again for credits.... i know it's a dumb question but i legitly don't know lol

If you play AD all the way to H39 you wont have a clue what do to with it.

As i think someone mentioned, once your supports are near or at lvl go with the bismark. Its really important to get that experince in a KM playstyle ship before getting to the H39. When played well, the 39 is an amazing ship, when not you will get eaten alive..... So play bismark, or OP2, which in my personal opinion is even more fun to play than eithor bissy or AD.
